You are Valued

“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:26

Oh my friends you have great value in the eyes of the Lord. The very fact that you were made in the image of God and that you possess a soul, which has far greater value than any of the world’s riches, shows how valuable you are to the Lord. God not only made you in his image, but he even sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for you, further demonstrating the value he placed on your life.

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Your price tag was huge and you were bought with the very blood of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. The most amazing part is that He died for us while, we were still in our sins! That is what I would call some crazy, deep, love! Even though we may not deserve the love, attention, and sacrifice that God has so freely given us; we must, in faith, believe what the Bible says about our value in the eyes of God. Because there is joy in knowing who made you, who sacrificed Himself for you, and who it is that gets the glory for it all… our Lord Jesus Christ!

“…you are precious in My sight… and I have loved you…” Isa. 43:4

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15

The very hairs of your head are all numbered.Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:30-31

” …I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

These Scriptures show how much Christ values you and there is no sin to big that can make Him love you any less. For he loves and values us all. You are precious, loved, never forsaken, never left, a friend of God and he even knows the numbers of hairs on your heads…! (I have never taken the time to count  any-bodies number of hairs on their head yet, the Creator of earth himself, knows yours. Amazing!) These are all promises to those who call him Lord and what a blessing it is to be valued by the Most High God!

May God grant you peace my friends! Love you all!

This is a great post. It is so encouraging. Read it with joy. Every word is true. You are loved by God. Jesus is Victor!

  3. Romans 5:3-5 NKJV

3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
His love sustains us through tribulation which produces character and character, hope. We aren’t ever disappointed because the love of God has been poured into our hearts. His love is sure and His mercy is new every morning. Great is His faithfulness!

  4. I never thought about the second part of Genesis 1:26 being a testimony to how much God loves me! He’s given me things to rule, portions of His world that I have the authority to offer to Him–that He might rule them through me.

  5. Such needed words. Thanks for affirming his deep love for us, so wonderful to hear 🙂 I love the thought that he literally knows how many hairs are on my head 🙂

Great statement! What a wonderful loving Lord that we serve!

  7. Thank you Elissa for that wonderful assurance of God’s Love, which is for everyone as we can see in John 3:16 For God so Loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes Jesus died for everyone even His enemies because God Loved everyone in the world, past, present and future but only by heart repentance do we receive the free gift of Salvation because it shows we believe we need a Saviour and so we acknowledge Jesus as Lord of our lives.

When we search for God with all our heart, we are then able to understand just how wonderful He is and all the good He has planned for us and that He delights in us His Children when we come close to Him and because we Love Him we want to obey Him and so He blesses us greatly and He never stops Loving us even when we use to ignore Him and disobey His guidelines but we hurt Him, He can’t stop Loving because He is Love.

We would like to offer you Elissa our dear Sister in The Lord, The King of Kings Friendship Award, it’s very different from most, like the flower one it is more like a blessing and some call it that or a gift, you can accept it as you feel in your heart or not, it is to affirm we are one, we are family.
