Are You Ready for His Blessed Return?

My father is one of the most spiritually influential men that I know. He has been through so much in his life including marriage issues, health issues, becoming paralyzed almost to the point of a vegetative state, to walking and moving about today; praise God! I can remember as a child watching him time after time prevail and grip onto God in such troubled times. I recall the long nights he would spend soaking up the Word of God and readying himself for the tasks ahead. I believe he truly is a man prepared, watching and diligent about Gods business in this world; mind you he has his minor downfalls, and we all do, but he is still someone who is truly a man after God. Luckily, I have the honor of calling him my father and mentor, and a good one at that! I thank God for putting him in my life because without him I would not be here today. Even today he receives phone calls from me asking to explain parts of the Scripture that I may not understand. But one thing he taught me is that if there ever were a time to get right with the Lord, it’s now! You see, not only does my father have the gift of wisdom, but also a watchman’s heart…he has a love for Gods prophetic Word relating to the end times and he certainly didn’t withhold information from me.

The Bible is full of prophecies in both the Old and New Testament; in fact there are anywhere between 2,000-10,000 prophecies within the Scriptures, depending on how many prophecies one may count in a single Scripture. You see, these Scriptures were not written hundreds of years ago, but thousands and yet, are coming to pass today. The neat thing about this is that we, people currently residing on planet earth, get to witness these prophecies coming true! For us reality seekers, well…what more evidence do you need? Nostradamus predictions don’t even come close to what the Bible has to offer.

The Scriptures speak of many events leading to the end times. In fact Jesus, the Apostle Paul, and many other various prophets have left clues as to when to expect these things to happen. Some of these signs include: wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in various places, increase in natural disasters (extreme weather—tsunamis, floods, hurricanes, fires, heat waves, snow storms), false prophets, perilous times, the gospel being preached throughout the world, godlessness, falling away from the faith, the increase of knowledge and travel, plans for a one world government, Israel becoming a nation, the return of Jews to Israel, redevelopment of the Roman Empire (European Community), the rise of Russia, plans for rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem, existence of a 200,000,000 man army (China), the return of one pure language to Israel (Hebrew), the technology for the mark of the best, etc. I don’t have to get into too much detail for someone to point out that all of these things are happening today. Many of which we can visually see going on around us.

There are many events pointing to the end of this age, however a very noticeable sign is the increase of knowledge and travel. What’s interesting about this is that prior to the 19th century, men could travel no faster than horseback and carriage, the speed of foot or boat. That means for the last six-thousand years or so, people have managed to maintain the same source of travel—until now. In a little over a hundred years we have gone from horse back to cars, planes, jets, trains, submarines, and even space travel. Not only has the invention of the computer and the internet enabled us to access information from billions of sources within the matter of seconds, but DNA research, advances in the medical field, nuclear weapons and unfortunately cloning have become a part of our lifestyles. All of which have transpired in a little over a hundred years, and yet from since the time man has existed there have been no major advances in technology or travel like we have observed in our days, nothing even comes close. This is astonishing to me! We are witnessing Biblical prophecy right before our eyes, just as predicted.

“But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Daniel 12:4

Life as we know it is constantly changing. Things need to be updated and revised on a daily basis. We are in the last days as predicted in the Bible, not the end of the world—which will not end—just the end of this age. I believe that if you are a true believer, someone who is about God’s business, then you will be raptured off this planet before the seven-year tribulation begins. (Rapture meaning the transportation by the radical hand of God, out of this earth and into the heavenly places). Each time God has poured His wrath out on people He has delivered the righteous. Two quick examples are Lot (Genesis 19) and Noah (Genesis 6). Nowhere in Scripture, when we find judgment proceeding directly from God, do we find the righteous being judged along with the wicked. Even Abraham challenged God’s fairness.

“Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” Genesis 18:25

Notice Abraham premises that if judgment came from God, it wouldn’t be fair to judge the righteous with the wicked. But either way, the time is at hand whether you are ready for it or not. Our economy is on the verge of collapse and as I write this to you, there are statements being made, warning of a financial collapse and a second depression worse than the first. If you have ever read a book on the end days you would have noticed that it is filled with pages upon pages of factual evidence of predictions already at hand, but the question you need to ask yourself today is, “Am I ready?”

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:11-13

We need to be living righteously, denying ungodliness and looking for the blessed return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, I want you to ask yourself, am I ready for Christs return? If He was to come today, would I make the rapture? Hopefully the answer is yes, but if not please contact me, I’d love to pray with you and tell you how to receive our Savior.

And for those of you who know Jesus, lets continue living righteously and pray that we are counted worthy, for the time of our Lord is at hand…

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36

  1. The one that amazed me, years ago, is where it states that all the elements will be untied — impossible until the discovery of nuclear destruction. Who’d have thought Peter, merely a poor fisherman, was also part nuclear physicist?! (2 Pet. 3:10)

  2. I had a dream, 05/24/2012, and in the dream, I saw Jesus standing with a winnowing fork in His hand. A winnowing fork is what is used to separate the wheat from the chaff like John the Baptist describes in Matthew 3:12 and Luke 3:17. However, in this case I did not get the sense in the dream that this had to do with final judgment bur rather had to do with who would be taken and who would be left behind. I saw in the dream the rapture occurring and I saw people in two’s as is described in Matthew 24:40-41 where it talks of two men in the field, one taken and one left and two women with a hand-mill, one taken and the other left. In the very next verse Jesus gives a warning that must be heeded by all which is to be watchful because you do not know the day not the hour of the Lord’s return, As I previously stated, I saw people in two’s as the rapture occurred and as the ones being taken began to ascend towards heaven, those being left behind grabbed onto their shoes, I saw tennis shoes on those being taken and am not quite sure of the meaning, because they knew what was happening and that they were being left behind. The last thing that I heard was Luke 21:36 being quoted, ” WATCH THEREFORE AND PRAY ALWAYS THAT YOU MAY BE COUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT WILL COME TO PASS, AND TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN.”

One thing else I noticed is that of the 7 churches mentioned in the book of Revelation there were only 2 for which Jesus had no word of correction for, Smyrna, and Philadelphia. Of these 2 churches only Philadelphia, the church of brotherly love, was promised by Jesus to be kept from the hour of testing coming upon the whole world.

Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you safe during the time of testing which is coming to the whole world to test those living on earth. (Rev 3:10 GW)

  3. I finally updated my blogroll tonight on Lyn Leahz! You guys added me a long time ago..and here I finally got around to it. I’m so sorry it took me so long! God bless you!

  4. Hey, I just noticed something on your blogroll you will want to change. You know the area where you add the links to the blogroll? Go to all of your links and click edit on each one. Once in the edit area, scroll down and you’ll see an area that says Target. Put the dot in the cirlcle that says “BLANK” (open in new window) That way when people click on a website on your blogroll, they don’t get taken from your page. A new window opens so they don’t lose yours. And from now on when you add someone, be sure to scroll all the way down and do that. I didn’t know either, I just saw this tonight. Sometimes, someone will intend to browse your page more, but then they click on something, and they’re on a new page of someone else’s. They keep clicking, and before long, it’s too much trouble to hit back, back, back so many they just exit and never make it back here. Does that make sense? LOL! God bless you!

  5. and when I said above, “Go to all of your links..” I’m referring to the links area in the dashboard. I’m sure you know that, but wanted to be clear just in case.

  6. So lovely to share your story of the relationship you share with your dad, it must be a really precious and rewarding journey you both share. I guess the worthy part on our behalf as you say when He returns, well I think His wonderful Grace will make His own worthy as we put to death our sinful flesh through the Spirit and are conformed into the image of Jesus, being perfected in His Love.

  7. Great Truth in your message Elissa and yes we can indeed see the signs of Jesus’ return but there are still some that have not happened yet, according to the Scriptures but could at any time as you shared. Revelation 13

We know the Beast will arise first, he will be someone who is well known and he will have a fatal wound and so will appear to return to life and many will worship him, the Rapture and his mark . He will do counterfeit Miracles, Signs and Wonders to deceive those who are in Spiritual darkness and those Christians who won’t worship him and deny God, will be Martyred.

As you shared Elissa we need to always be ready and not be caught unawares like those in darkness

1 Thessalonians 5:3-5 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of Light, and the children of the Day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Another thing we need to understand is the earth and our Solar system will be destroyed, that’s right no Martians or space ships to Wisk anyone away, although perhaps that is what those in darkness will say happened to us after the Rapture and before the end.

Isaiah 65 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Yes it is sad that the Cults don’t understand the significance of the Scriptures but depend on mans fleshy understanding. They can’t see the reality of the Rapture, Revelation 3:10 because they have no understanding of the first sickle and where we shall be when we are taken from earth but the Scriptures tell us clearly all God’s Truth and if we have asked for His wisdom and Trust Jesus our only Teacher to lead us into all understanding, then we will not be deceived. 1Corinthians2:9-16

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

This will be us, all God’s redeemed Children Raptured and before the Throne.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne.

  8. Sorry Elissa it should have read ….We know the Beast will arise first, he will be someone who is well known and he will have a fatal wound and so will appear to return to life and many will worship him, this will be before the Rapture and his mark which comes after it. He will do counterfeit Miracles, Signs and Wonders to deceive those who are in Spiritual darkness and those Christians who won’t worship him and deny God, will be Martyred, the rest will be Raptured, but the Tribulation that we will go through, is nothing compared to the final days and we will not go through ours alone…yes as you said… let us be prepared and watchful!

    Christian Love Anne.

    • LOL! You just never know, pre-trib, mid-trib. 🙂 Who knows, only God! But I am still Pre-trib all the way. But in the event its mid, I’m prepared for that also. 🙂 Love you my sister and thanks for the information. Love it! 🙂

      • Hi again Elissa, Jesus tells us as you said that we are to be aware of the signs and so we can know when the Rapture will happen, we don’t have to be confused whether its pre-trib, mid-trib etc with us having asked for and received God’s wisdom, Jesus Christ The Living Word, our only Teacher through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, gives us full understanding of His inspired written word as He leads us into all Truth and perfects us.

I would be willing to share with you Elissa the Scripture that shows clearly the events that surround the Rapture before and after and what we can expect as Christians. I can do so here on your Blog or by E-mail or not at all, it’s your choice. Also I would like to leave a link for you about God’s wisdom which is available for all of us not just a chosen few but of course our older generation also has life wisdom to share and we need to respect and listen to their Godly instruction and advice and treat them with utmost respect, as I know you do your father.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding.

        Blog Post –

        Christian Love Anne.

      • My dearest Anne,
I didn’t mean to make it sound like I’m confused. Because I’m not. This is what I know to be true and I have already studies all the views, but thank you for your advice. It’s received with much love. You continually bless me with your heart for the Lord. 🙂

  9. Hi Elissa, no I didn’t think you were confused but you did say only God knows, which made me think you may have doubts but it is good you were just highlighting others who depend on fleshy reasoning.

I feel the confusion comes first from the lack of some Christians not asking wholeheartedly for God’s wisdom which we were not born with and so they are depending on their own understanding or others which Jesus warned against, as you know The Holy Spirit does not say one thing to one person and then something different to another when they contradict or does He change His mind, although He may teach us something that we can share to encourage and uplift the Body of Christ, that others are as yet are unaware of or have not experienced in their own lives, this is one reason why we need each other.

The other problem I feel that confuses some, although once again Jesus helps us have full understanding is the difference with words that are used in Translations, even though the K.J.V is the most accurate without man’s own interpretation added, people can still have confusion because the meaning of words change or words themselves change over time, as we can see with The Godhead which is now called The Trinity and the first Sickle which is the Rapture Revelation 14:15-16 and Dragons which are now called Dinosaurs and we also know D.N.A and Aids are noted in Scripture but not called these and of course that the World was round when man believed it was flat and they had no way of knowing different but it was in the Scriptures at that time and so on.

As we look at the word Tribulation (see below ) it was used at other times and not just to describe the time of the very end days on earth that some will endure, other words were also used to describe this time, end result without Jesus’ direction is confusion. Christians will experience some of the Tribulation as Jesus tells us in regard to being Martyred, persecution and betrayal even by family members but they will be Raptured as you shared before the final horrific end days. The Mark of the beast of course also gives us assurance of the Rapture being before this identification with Satan and rejection of Jesus Christ, but of course there are the two Witnesses also who will endure till the end but in Victory.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Luke 21:35-36 For as a SNARE shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

    Christian Love Anne.

  10. Yes so do I Elissa, the whole passage gives rich understanding, the verse was the first one the Lord showed me in connection to the Rapture but He also showed me the big picture too and how the Scriptures all fit together, as you can see with the one below it also is a bit of the picture and we need them all, of course it is not referring to 10 literal days but a 10th of time, Jeus also talked about this in Luke too.

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have Tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

    Christian Love Anne.
